
Colour grading is a process which allows you to fix, enhance or even remodel the look of the picture. Colour grading involves looking at the picture in great detail. Vectorcopes are used to really see the signal levels within a picture and make sure that brightness, contrast and colour balance match within a sequence. Colour grading is also sometimes used for stylizing the look of a film.
